Yeah speaking of, I know I like to use DA to keep in contact with a lot of you (and spam all over my journal when I'm bored, like now), but if you want to see my art you'll have to check my website or my sketchblog, as that is where I'll be posting most things. Mostly in my sketchblog, I'm sure.

I am LEAVING IN A FEW HOURS to go back to Jersey! I miss home, juuuust a smidgen. I'm really pumped for the rest of the summer. There's a lot of work ahead for me, but the payoff is worth it! Those of you in that area, call me.. immediately. You know who you are... *stare*

AUGH I HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL! *weep* My wrist is in a brace which makes typing/drawing difficult. Somehow I've been managing. >.> The thing that brought up my carpal tunnel was TOO MUCH POKEMON. But I am only 120 away from being done, and most of those I need to get from "other games" like XD and Coliseum, as well as the ruby/sapphire generation which I NEVER PLAYED. :c

Ohh but as far as good news goes! I'll most likely be going to OTAKON! ~moonymonster has a hotel room already and invited me and ~ethereal-winged along~!! I'm excited. I haven't been to a con since Otakon '05. Though this time it will be weird walking around instead of being parked in the Artist Alley as I prefer to do.

Though I am going to be cosplaying! Assuming I can make my costume on time.. With all the other things happening in June, July and early August, I'll only have like two weeks to make it. Another good thing - after a haircut I was already planning, I'll have the character's hair, so NO WIG STYLING FOR THE NAKI.. yay! As for what character? Bah you'll find out eventually. :3 Though if you're on my lj flist, you already know.

And Naki's inner fangirl makes a first-time outward appearance in three years. >.> Hahaa....

I was also thinking about doing a moe character, like some sort of cat-girl maid or something, in order to... er, pun intended, but con people out of stuff. There is nothing wrong with using what God gave you. ...Mmmpwah ha ha ha haaa..!!

Either way, I'm excited!

Well sadly I ended up ditching a ton of my personal summer projects. I usually do so that's not news. >_> Though my heart broke a little when I realized that my character sheets are - once again - pushed to the bottom of my to do list. I swear to god I'm going to get them all done one of these days, damnit. It's been YEARS. Though it doesn't help that I have, like, at least 20 characters that I draw ALL THE TIME that are getting sheets.

But yeah, anyway, projects. Mostly I have my internship. That's going well enough. :3

BUT! I also started working on my senior project for good old MCAD. Yess, I am getting started 8 months early. It's a fun story! It's also mega long hence the head-start. I'm writing the whole damn thing over the summer even if I don't end up using all of it for the actual project, and it is in fact a young adult novel. So roughly 50,000-80,000 words. XP I have (or hope I have) a lot of good connections with writers who can edit and/or get it edited for me. Since I want it to get edited before the beginning of senior project, I need to write it now. x.x 5,000 words a day until it's done so I have plenty of time to edit it. That's been eating a lot of my time lately. But it's all good!

I also have a sketch blog for reals this time, which I actually intend to update as the drawings come. Minus most of my senior project stuff because that is under wraps. XP It has to do with pirates though. And merfolk. And avians. ...But mostly pirates. Bookmark this shit. :0

ALSO VIDEO GAMES. My list of "Video Games To Finish" started accumulating titles over the school year and I finally have time to play them. Except I don't know where to start. x_x I'm hellbent on getting all 492 Pokemon but that's like a 2 year commitment. >_> I also have Digimon Dawn, Phantom Hourglass and Mario Galaxy to finish. And those are just the ones I own. ~_~ I want to get Okami, the new Mario Kart and Brawl as well.

....And I want to get my druid to 70. >_> But the 60-70 grind is annoying. It takes forever to make a dent in the exp bar and half the time I'm doing corpse runs because you get ganked all the time in outland. *sigh* Dr00ds are the shit though. I love my boomkin.

Yeah, all these projects except for my internship are "secondary". Really I need to buckle down and plug away at those illustrations, since I don't have a summer job. :/ Not for lack of want, though. It'd be nice to earn extra cashmonies. Sadly I travel too much over the summer between states to hold a job. Oh well.

Summer travel should be MEGA FUN though! My sister and I are going to visit our aunt in Maui for a bit, and hopefully the whole family is still going to San Diego/Disneyland.. I say 'hopefully' because my mum just ducked back into the hospital (nothing majour) and we're not sure if she'll be able to travel.

Still. Maui. Hot summer flings, here I come!

Speaking of health issues, I've been working my body sore trying to get back in shape. ^^' Well, the good sore, not the bad sore. I've also been COOKING agian, which is a VERY WELCOMED RELIEF. x.x So sick of spending $200 a month on take out.

Oh, and like... Go see some summer movies. The ones I've seen so far have been FANTASTIC.
